Whether you are the main attraction (men), or the right partner (the bride), wedding days call for men to look their best. And even if your wedding is behind us, you always have to deal with the anniversary. Here are some tips for the maintenance man to handle both the wedding and everything that comes after (or formal event you are invited).
Care Tips for Men
* Looking good takes some work and time, so start the basic daily care of skin cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize the beginning to get the greatest results. Once a day (or twice if you have oily skin), liquid detergent and rinse to remove debris and clear pores. Follow with a high moisturizing products to keep skin smooth, hydrated and looking great. Two or three times a week, exfoliate with a facial scrub to remove dead skin cells and improve the skin's surface.
* If you have never spent time in skin care routine before, consider buying a kit that contains all the products you need to get started. It takes the guesswork out of figuring out what products to use for it (and can make an excellent gift for the groom, too!).
* To treat specific problems such as under-eye circles, fine wrinkles and acne, with products designed specifically for them.
* For the perfect shave without irritation, such as ingrown hairs, use products that are gentle and do not contain irritants such as fragrances, menthol or alcohol. Avoid foam products because they are not adequately lubricate the skin. Change the blade after 4-5 uses, so as not to pass the same spot several times because of a blunt knife. If possible, shave in the shower, air steam opens pores and allows the hair to shave close.
* For a super smooth shave the day of the event, skip shaving the day before, and then shave in two stages: First, shave with the grain, with very light pressure. Second, re-thin layer of shaving cream and shave against the grain for a smooth result.
* Wash your hair gentle shampoo that will remove dirt without stripping natural moisture. Be sure to get a haircut or trim for a few days before the wedding or birthday, but did not agree on a new style, the day before, because it can be disastrous.
* Nails and Hands: With all the hand shaking and hand-holding going on, it's a good idea to make sure that your nails clean and trim, and hand moisturizer and free of debris. Why not splurge on a manicure? Men are more and more, from businessmen to movie stars, get them today, and trust us: sparkly paint will not participate.
* Wedding and event planning begins months or even years, ahead of time, so take advantage of waiting to get a deal with a nutritious diet and regular exercise.
No smell to the place: Make sure to wear deodorant. Hold your breath candy handy for those slow dances.
* Marriage Some experts recommend that men spend cologne at weddings, citing the fact that already a lot of perfume in the air and smell the flowers. If you choose to wear cologne, scent and light to preserve the use to a minimum.
* For the memorial, a gift does not have to be complicated or expensive. Plan your weekend vacation somewhere, even if it's only two towns away. Book a spa appointment for you both and spend a day of rest. Or instead of an expensive dinner, try to review the places you eat at when you start out, or the place where you both always wanted to try. The point is to celebrate your marriage any way they see fit.
